Common Ground Center is a non-profit arts, education, and outdoor recreation and retreat center in central Vermont. Explore our 2-acre pond and Lewis Creek.

Weddings at Common Ground Center are so much more than a simple ceremony and reception. They are an opportunity to spend the entire weekend celebrating with your loved ones! Registration is open for Camp Common Ground Family Camp 2027! The first week of camp is almost full already, so don’t delay.

The 2027 dates are:
Ash Week: July 24-30
Birch Week: July 31 - August 6
Cedar Week: August 7-13

Sign up before October 15 and receive a $200 discount. Monthly payment plans allow you to spread out the cost of camp and also help CGC financially. It’s easy to switch weeks later if your family calendar shifts. We offer a sliding scale payment structure and financial aid because we want camp to be available to everyone.

It’s Wedding Season at CGC! We have weddings almost every weekend until we close portions of our site for the winter. Couples (and their many helpers) arrive on Fridays to prepare for their big event. It’s so fun to watch our spaces transform to represent each unique couple.

Nearly 10 years ago we sent coloring-book style postcards to the CGC community and asked them share their finished creations with us on social media. Imagine our surprise when we received a beautifully completed postcard IN THE MAIL last week!

Thank you mystery artist for reminding us that great art need not be rushed.
