Delaware River Club The Delaware River Club rests on the banks of the West Branch of the Delaware River, considered to be one of the top five wild trout streams in the nation.

‼️ Guide Availability Saturday 10/3 ‼️

We had a cancellation for this Saturday, 10/3, so we have ONE guide available. The fishing has been decent with small olives as well as some Cahills, hebes, and sporadic Isonychias. We’ve seen more Isonychia spinners than duns in the last week. The West Branch has a greenish tint to it that is likely the reservoir turning. The fish and bugs don’t mind it and it’s actually better for streamer fishing.

Richard Franklin, with a rainbow he’d like to dedicate to his friend and fishing companion Jerry Wolland. Older Delaware River Club people will remember Jerry from the schools and many of Al’s hosted trips. He was one of the kindest people in our industry.

Olives and flying ants are still the main bugs but there are some Isonychias, Cahills, and hebes around. Blind casting the larger bugs in the riffles can pay off. Nymphs and wets have been putting some fish in the net too.

We still have a few good weeks of fishing left - hit us up if you’d like to schedule a guide trip!

As a reminder, we will have limited shops hours next weekend, Friday 9/18 thru Sunday 9/20 as we host our Paint The Delaware Pink retreat.

Happy September! The release from Cannonsville has been cut back to 450 cfs. We had a few storms pss through overnight so the feeder streams are adding some additional water. So far everything looks good this morning. We have the possibility of 1 – 2″ of rain today depending on how the storms track. If anything changes dramatically we’ll post an update. The ants have been around – not in big numbers but they’re here.
