Good evening everyone,
On behalf of the leadership team at Pouch Scout Camp, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every volunteer who participated in today's Flag Retirement Ceremony.
The American flag is more than a piece of cloth—it is a symbol of our nation's history, sacrifices, freedoms, and values. By helping conduct this ceremony with dignity, respect, and reverence, you honored not only the flags being retired, but also the principles they represent.
Your dedication, time, and commitment made this ceremony meaningful and memorable. Whether you assisted with preparation, participated in the ceremony itself, or supported the event behind the scenes, your efforts reflected the very best of Scouting: service, citizenship, and respect.
We are especially grateful for the care and professionalism you brought to this important tradition. Ceremonies such as this help teach future generations the significance of honoring our nation's symbols and preserving the values they stand for.
Thank you for your service, your leadership, and your continued support of Scouting. Because of volunteers like you, traditions such as this remain strong and meaningful for years to come.
