Last evening, Mount Moriah Lodge #27 had the distinct honor of hosting MW Steve Norris, Grand Master of AF & AM of NC, for his official District visit. He was accompanied by several distinguished Masons, both past and present, from across the state. The lodges of District 30 were well represented, and the evening was marked by meaningful discussion, strong fellowship, and a shared commitment to the principles of the Craft.

During the course of the evening, the Grand Master formally presented the original 1802 charter of Mount Moriah Lodge #27 to WB Scott Zanotti. This solemn and historic occasion stands as a profound milestone in the life of the Lodge, and for the Brothers in Statesville, it was truly a full-circle moment, as we now stand once more united under the same honored name and charter first entrusted to those faithful men who labored to establish this Lodge more than two centuries ago.
