Originally a plantation property, the 45-acre Walnut Hills Campground is steeped in history yet offers all the modern conveniences. Fish in Lake Kerplonken, play in the game room, swim in the pool, attend weekend

activities, visit the playground, feed the ducks, play a round of disc golf on our 9 hole course, play horseshoes or sit by the creek—it is all on the grounds for your use! Visit nearby attractions, such as Woodrow Wilson Birthplace, New Market Battlefield State Historical Park, Monticello, Natural Bridge, Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive, Frontier Culture Museum and countless antique shops and flea markets.
