After 30+ years, The Mariposa Lodge has shut their doors and is permanently closed. The property has sold and the new owners will be using it as a private residence.

We wanted to thank you for trusting us with your past stay/s in Steamboat Springs and know that we have enjoyed each and every breakfast that we have served. The friendships and relationships that we have made with our guests are irreplaceable and we will miss the connection and conversations with you all.

Good morning! Happy Monday! Happy freaking new year! We hope you had a healthy, relaxing and nourishing holiday season. Anyone else breathing a sigh of relief we made it through? Or just us?! 😝 We are feeling refreshed and ready to take on the week(…even with our mountain to-do list to tackle). We have not been able to stop eating these garden bagels! Wait. Making them!...we haven’t been able to stop •making• them. Yea, that’s what we meant. 😉😏 We are thinking about doing a blog post on them so you (yes, you!) can make them at home, too. Yay or nay?

It’s that time of year where we look out in our backyard and can’t possibly fathom that our mint, chives, lavender etc., will ever thaw from under the piles and piles of snow! This breakfast gives us all the feels seeing the freshly harvested local (and gifted!!) raspberries topping our stuffed french toast alongside those beautiful mint leaves adorning our fresh fruit and garden chives topping our smashed potatoes. Don’t get us wrong, we la-la-love winter, but we la-la-love summer too!
