s, hiking trails, and the Meramec River. Our locations are nestled in the trees running alongside the beautiful Meramec River. This nature-inspired setting offers a real country setting in the woods. Visitors can be surrounded by nature and smell the fresh outdoor air. Our rentals will take you to a place of total relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. After spending a beautiful day on the river, visitors can come back to the lodge to enjoy a family BBQ on one of the many decks overlooking the river bottoms or they can choose to dine at one of Steelville’s local small town, family friendly restaurants. After dinner, visitors can relax on a comfortable sofa to enjoy a movie in front of a crackling fireplace with a bowl of popcorn made from one of our very own fully loaded kitchens. Driftwood River Lodge offers a choice of several guest houses on the same property. Our guest houses can accommodate both small groups and large groups up to 13 people.
