I would like to take this time to honor our wonderful team members on their hard work and dedication this past weekend/ week. I am honored to have each of you on my team and to work along side you guys. From Covering shifts around the clock and assisting where ever need to going above and beyond your job titles to make sure that our hotel was taken care of. I am proud of each of you and the hard work that each of you provide on a daily bases. You all definitely showed your Hamptonailty and pulled out all the stops. Thank you also to our wonderful Guests that made the time we had memorable despite the circumstances. I am honored to work in Stephenville and sever my corporate office at this Location. We are looking for a Hotel Director of Maintenance to take care of our hotel’s infrastructure (e.g. buildings, electricity.) You will manage maintenance personnel and plan various renovation and repair projects. In this role, you should be organized and proactive. Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is essential. Your goal will be to ensure our hotel premises are safe and functional for guests and employees alike.

Responsibilities

Inspect hotel regularly to ensure it meets safety standards
Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies and facilities (e.g. kitchens, laundry room)
Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests
Act fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power outages)
Find ways to reduce hotel operating costs and conserve energy
Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
Maintain budgets, expenses and activity logs
Requirements

Proven experience as a hotel maintenance technician
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer, and HVAC systems; hotel industry experience is a plus
Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly
Problem-solving aptitude
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Valid Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) is a plus
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
