K + K’s story began at work, where passing hellos slowly became something more. A shared love of fitness, sports and a little friendly competition brought them together; laughter and the way they showed up for each other made it last.

For their October wedding, the couple chose Kent Island Resort for its waterfront location, beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, and the peace of mind that came with a weather backup. The bucolic setting gave them a picturesque backdrop for their wedding photos, while the pier overlooking Thompson Creek offered a quiet place to share private vows before walking down the aisle.

Personal details made the celebration unmistakably theirs: each guest found their seat with a custom photo magnet and a handwritten letter. At every table, childhood photos showed the couple at the age matching its number.

After an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, 150 guests gathered inside The Farmstead for dinner and a high-energy reception complete with a custom shotski, CO₂ cannon and a dance floor that never slowed down.

From that quiet moment on the pier to a room full of their favorite people, it was a day entirely their own🤍
