High School Girls Class
Sis Rhonda Hurst

As part of their On-Campus Missions project, the High School Girls class focused on beautifying the campgrounds and creating a welcoming environment for all who visit. The girls worked together to build planter boxes, stain them, and fill them with colorful flowers to enhance the entrance of the dorm. Through their efforts, they demonstrated that serving Christ can be as simple as using their talents and time to bless others. Their project reflects the love of Jesus by creating a beautiful and inviting space for campers and guests to enjoy.

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.” — Colossians 3:23

7th & 8th Grade Girls Service Project
Sis. Emily Hertz

The 7th & 8th grade girls learned that we can share the love of Jesus by loving our neighbors and serving others. As part of their service project, the girls assembled goodie bags for the women and children staying at a local women’s shelter.

Through this project, the girls put their faith into action by showing kindness, compassion, and encouragement to families facing difficult circumstances. While the goodie bags met practical needs, they also served as a reminder that God loves them and that they are not forgotten.

“Let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.” — 1 John 3:18

We are proud of these young ladies for demonstrating Christ’s love and being a blessing to others in our community.

For many years, Bro. Kevin Hendrix and his 5th & 6th grade class have faithfully participated in on-campus mission projects, teaching students that serving the Lord begins right where they are. Through their hard work and dedication, they have helped improve and beautify the campgrounds while learning the value of Christian service.

This year, the class completed a beautiful bench surrounding one of the shade trees on campus. This addition provides a welcoming place for campers, staff, and visitors to rest, fellowship, and enjoy God’s creation. Their project is not only a blessing today but will continue serving generations of campers for years to come.

We are grateful for Bro. Kevin, his students, and their servant hearts. Their efforts remind us that even simple acts of service can make a lasting impact for God’s kingdom.

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” — Ephesians 2:10 (KJV)

The High Teen Boys class, completed an on-campus missions project at the Eureka Campgrounds. With the addition of the new dining hall, several outdoor areas were still in need of finishing touches. Thanks to a generous donation of sod, the class had the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the campgrounds.

Under the direction of Larry Ross and Mark Blaylock, the young men worked together to prepare the ground and lay the sod, transforming the area around the dining hall into a beautiful grassy space. Their hard work, teamwork, and servant attitudes were evident throughout the project.

This effort not only improved the appearance of the campgrounds but also provided the young men with an opportunity to learn the value of serving others through practical ministry. The results of their labor will be enjoyed by campers, families, and visitors for years to come.

We are grateful for the generous donation of sod and for the leadership of Larry Ross, Mark Blaylock, and Dennis Craig in guiding these young men as they put their faith into action through service.
