Today's hail report.. we had marble-size hail for about 10 minutes. I don't see any obvious damage on my vehicles, but I'll look again when the sun comes out. We will take a drive around and make sure people's vents are intact. That's where most of the damage comes from. If we see anything we will let you know individually.

Everything's good here. Last night's storm went north of us and hit El Dorado springs with large damaging hail.

Good morning Calipso family. I hope all of you got through the storm last night without any damage. I wanted to give everyone an update on the campground. We had a lot of rain and light winds but no damage. No hail or limbs down. All is well.

I've had a few phone calls this morning, so I thought I would let you all know that after last night's storm, everything is in good shape down here. We didn't get any wind or hail of any kind.

As some of you have probably heard, we had an explosion here yesterday. Bobby and Chris in space number one up at the entrance to the park are recovering well from burns and no doubt shock. Apparently unbeknownst to them they had an oxygen tank in a large wheelbarrow outside with some other debris. A spark caught the trash on fire and while they were trying to put the fire out the oxygen tank exploded. They were standing right over it at the time and are truly lucky to be alive and not more seriously injured. The explosion was so loud I thought it was a plane crash. Bobby's trailers suffered some significant damage with Windows being blown out cabinets off the wall inside along with pictures and dishes. Neighbors and emergency responders were here immediately, and put out small spot fires from flaming debris as far down as Melissa and Ron's trailer. I can only credit God's protection for their safety. There is no damage to any other personal property at the campground. The small fires in the leaves were near the driveway and were put out immediately.

I can't remember ever seeing a level 4 risk for our area. Please be weather aware. The best place for shelter is the courthouse in Stockton .The Tornado shelter at the bottom of loop 1 has a tanker in ground. Marked with a sign. Only fits about 20 people. The bathrooms look like they're metal sided but they are actually cinder block underneath. There's also a small shelter under my back deck, but it does not have a terribly secure door. If you are from out of the area download KY3 app and keep a close eye on weather alerts. It is possible to hear the tornado sirens from the campground but they are very faint.
