Altes Eckert Stolz means “Old Eckert Pride” and to say we are proud of our heritage and where we were raised would be an understatement! This home, where our family began, means so much more than just another B&B. Our Omie & Opie moved into this home in the 1940s and
raised our dads and aunt here. As they became adults and moved onto their own lives, we as grandkids spent countless hours here with Omie learning to garden, bake bread and cookies, how to sew and how to read! We picked up pecans in the yard with Opie as he talked about the value of a penny. We played soccer, baseball, hide and seek and many more games with cousins.
