Kicking butt on our new pool area! The pool is nearly ready, but we still have some hardscape, landscape, fencing and gazebos to put in. The timber frame bathroom block is well on its way, courtesy of the timber frame class (that Tim took) at the . It promises to be a relaxing retreat!

It doesn't look like much yet, but our timber frame bathroom block that Tim worked on at (and we subsequently bought) has arrived. Once our concrete pool skirt is in, we're going to rock and roll trying to get this and everything else done by Memorial Day. Wish us luck!!

We're back from winter break! Looking forward to this upcoming season! For the month of March, both cabins are reduced price ($200/night).

Our newly-installed in-ground, heated pool will be ready by June 1st, hopefully earlier! (The pool will be ready; we still have hardscape to do).

We've spent most of winter making pool pavers to mix in with the boring Home Depot pavers that will surround the pool. It's a nice way to use up old tiles and whatnot (mostly whatnot) in an artistic way. We had a little helper helping us too! 🤗🐈 See you soon!

Great news! We've installed a 40' x 16' heated pool for our awesome guests! We anticipate that it will be fully functional (minus some landscaping and bathroom block details) as of June 1st, 2026. We think we'll be booking up pretty quick, so if you have your vacation dates set, please book with us!

We had to say goodbye today to Stuart. He was a good boy, cranky 'til the end, and an old man of 15 years. We had a pig funeral today, just two of us in attendance. We cried. He lives on, in Tim's Father's Day shirt. God speed Stuart. You were a good boy.

We finished our first four of ten Adirondack chairs we built from scratch. These will go to Oakenshield Cabin, and we'll finish Huntress' other six this summer. We learned how to build them at , with help from Rockler Classic Adirondack Chairs templates. At least these won't blow away in our high winds! Artwork by Janine and Cutting Edge Stencils!

Welcome meteorological spring! We are well-rested, we've finished all repairs and improvements on the cabins, and are ready for a fun spring/summer/fall season!
