Look at this beauty. This is the third year I've grown one cotton plant. Just one. The first year was a dud, last year it was pretty but only produced three cotton bolls. This year there are nine on one plant! It's just for fun, but I'm pretty excited about it.

Here is the last of it. A tiny pull behind trailer that sat on the acre closest to the creek since 1950. Very little was salvageable, except the awesome appliances and some pretty cupboard doors. Amazingly we were able to put air in the tires enough to pull it!

Now for the big cleanup of the rest of the property. Old trailers mean lots of glass, nails, and junk. Because, you know, we have nothing else to do. 😂

Good morning! Took the weekend off from Facebook and other socials to concentrate on small projects.

Four of the sheep are sheared, one to go. Fences are moved. Barn is clean again. New solar lighting installed at the gate. Tree branches trimmed and removed. Went boot shopping with Farmer Ted. Even had time for one social event with my sweet friend Leslie Joy Welpman

And guess what? This week has even more things lined up. 🤣. Git r done!

Kit Kat doesn't care as long as she gets her morning milk. Life is good on the farm.
