At this time Cody and Michael would like to thank all of our wonderful guests that have supported us over the eight years of owning and operating The Arbor In. During the past year we have had many challenges such as elderly parents declining health and last November, Cody was diagnosed with with Liver Cancer. Then there is the constant increase in the cost of doing business which for small business owners just made it impossible to keep our low rates while maintaining the high level of service our guests have come to know us for. Cody and I have decided to sell the Inn and we are sorry to say that since the 1950's the home of Billy the Kid which was called the Buccaneer Lodge and recently The Arbor Inn Bed & Breakfast will no longer exist. The new owners are converting the building into apartments which is a loss to the history of the Town of Stowe. Over the years we have meant so many wonderful people from all over the world which we are sure some will remain friends with for years to come. We would also like to thank family and friends for there friendship and support. Inn Keeping is a very difficult, challenging and a yet rewarding lifestyle that came from our hearts. We are truly going to miss the lifestyle but it is time for us to concentrate on our health and relax. We both want to give a big THANK YOU to a wonderful lady that has been with us for the entire time we owned The Arbor Inn. Vera you were not just a wonderful employee but true friend "family". We will always appreciate all of your hard work and dedication. In closing, thanks again to everyone who made our dream of owning an Inn come true. Wishing you all the best. Michael and Cody
