Meet the man behind Handy Rent: Delmar Martin! 👋
Since the founding of Handy Rent in 2023, Delmar has been the heart and driving force behind the business. What started as a vision has grown into a valuable resource for our community, helping homeowners, contractors, and local businesses get the equipment they need to bring their projects to life.
Delmar grew up on a hog farm in Newburg, Pennsylvania, where hard work was part of everyday life. He spent more than six years working alongside his dad and brothers in their feed and landscape supply business, and those roots have stayed with him. He still has a little farming in his blood, with chickens, hogs, and dogs at home.
Away from work, you’ll likely find Delmar enjoying the outdoors, whether he’s fishing, hunting, playing softball, or simply spending time outside. But his favorite hours are spent with his wife, Missy, and their foster boys, who keep life busy in the best possible way.
Handy Rent is more than equipment and rentals. It’s about being there for our neighbors, helping local projects move forward, and giving people a dependable place to turn when they need a hand. That community-minded spirit is a big part of what Delmar has worked to build since day one.
We’re proud of what Handy Rent has become and grateful for the heart Delmar puts into it every day. 💪🚜
