Tucked away in the middle of the Hiawatha National Forest 1 mile north of Strongs, MI sits this quaint 20x20 foot log cabin with a covered porch overlooking a small trout stream. The cabin lies on 2 acres of peaceful, private property. With Lake Superior just 9 miles to the north there are many outdoor opportunities to choose from: several trout streams for fishing, miles of beautiful beaches to walk or swim Superior and gorgeous scenery every direction you go. The Tahquamenon River and Tahquamenon Falls are just a couple of the unique attractions within driving distance. Come enjoy seeing the bears at Oswalds Bear Ranch or enjoying a relaxing ride down the Tahquamenon River on the Toonerville Trolly.Your only a few miles from the Lake Superior Shipwreck Museum in Paradise Mi. The Soo Locks is another great attraction nearby the area. There are thousands of acres of federal forests just north of camp, SEVERAL 4 WHEELER A.T.V. TRAILS TO CHOOSE FROM. Also Several Hiking Trails including the well renown North Country Hiking Trail which sits a couple miles to the north of the property. Cabin is equip with wood stove heat, 3 burner cooking stove, cast iron and non stick cookware, park style BBQ grill, all eating utensils, flowing well, with indoor toilet and shower, LP gas lantern for lighting, screen tent with picnic table, campfire ring (4 folding chairs are available to enjoy your evening fires with family and friends). Cabin sleeps six adults comfortably. This cabin offers complete personal privacy unlike resort settings which have others right beside you . So come enjoy a campfire, flame roasted hot dog, smore or shore lunch with your family in a piece of Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula near Lake Superior's gorgeous shoreline. Weekly rates are from Sunday to Sunday for $600 per week. We offer a special weekday rate throughout the year Sunday thru Thursday for $375.00 for the 4 nights, otherwise $115.00 per night for 3 nights or more &$125.00 per night for 2 night stay.
