Westwood Shores Waterfront Resort is located on 450 feet of shoreline overlooking the waters of Green Bay. Westwood Shores is located less than three miles north of the heart of Sturgeon Bay on scenic Bay Shore Drive. The building design assures that every guest has a breathtaking view of the Bay. Our comfortable one and two bedroom suites offer a smoke-free environment, and your own private deck

to catch one of Door County’s famed picture perfect sunsets. A variety of recreational amenities are available including our waterfront picnic area, and complimentary paddle boats. Opened in July of 1996, Westwood Shores has quickly become a favorite vacation spot of guests coming to enjoy the splendor of the Door Peninsula.

“My sail is Door County and the Great Lakes, meets Pirates of the Caribbean. The sail includes the iconic Jolly Roger and my design of a skull lighthouse (a nod to the Great Lakes pirates: “King” James Jesse Strang and “Roaring” Dan Seavy). The names of ships lost to the Deaths Door Passage are listed (book credit: SHIPWRECKS AT DEATHS DOOR) and the golden hourglass with wings represents the passage of time (one of Pirate Christopher Moody’s symbols). This is my 2nd Sturgeon Bay street art project and I am happy to share my creation with you. Enjoy!”

There is something absolutely mesmerizing about the calm before the storm on the water. ⛈️🌊
​The air gets cool, the bay goes quiet, and the sky turns a beautiful, dramatic gray. It’s the perfect excuse to curl up by the window with a warm mug of coffee, watch the clouds roll in over the bay, and just enjoy the cozy side of waterfront living.
