Due to flooding of the park grounds, tomorrow's monthly HV board meeting has been relocated.
The meeting will be held at the Door County YMCA Sturgeon Bay.

Flood Watch issued April 16 at 1:33PM CDT until April 18 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Green Bay WI

WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, and
northeast Wisconsin, including the following areas, in central
Wisconsin, Marathon, Portage, Waushara and Wood. In east central
Wisconsin, Calumet, Manitowoc and Winnebago. In north central
Wisconsin, Langlade. In northeast Wisconsin, Brown, Door, Florence,
Forest, Kewaunee, Menominee, Northern Marinette County, Northern
Oconto County, Outagamie, Shawano, Southern Marinette County,
Southern Oconto County and Waupaca.

* WHEN...From Friday afternoon through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Thunderstorms will bring widespread rainfall of 0.50 to 1.50
inches with locally higher amounts of 2 to 3 inches possible
Friday afternoon through Friday night. With saturated ground,
this rainfall may lead to additional flooding.

REMINDER PARK IS CLOSED

Dear Owners & Guests,

We understand that WPS has been contacted by numerous owners regarding shutting power off to their individual sites. Additionally, owners have requested to shut down power to the entire park.

At this time, accessing individual site's power pedestals is neither feasible or safe for either HV staff or WPS.
After meeting with WPS upon their site visit here to HV, it was agreed that turning of individual power and /or turning off power to entire park was not necessary at this time.

In addition, we have multiple submersible pumps which operate electrically. Turning off power to the park would greatly hinder our efforts to continue to remove excess water.

WPS did emphasize the safety of all owners, patrons & guests. and to avoid entry to the park.

Please avoid ANY PARK ACCESS whether by vehicle, by foot, by kayak/canoe until further notice.

Any vehicles found attempting to access the park using maintenance or commercial side entrances will be met with immediate recourse by both HV management and Door County Sheriff department.

We encourage all owners to contact HV management with any questions regarding this park shut down moving forward.

Harbour Village Campground Resort
IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED.
Current water levels continue to rise and in certain areas over six feet deep.
Safety concerns regarding owner & guest access to sites and common areas resulting from electrical transformers and individual breaker panels are currently submerged.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT ACCESS FROM ANY DIRECTION INTO PARK!
