Hey Everyone!
This is Alex, Joelās oldest child!
I wanted to come on here and give a very very big shout out and HAPPY FATHERāS DAY to my dad!
He is one of those dads that would literally go without to make sure that my brother and I have. He loves with his whole heart and wears it on his sleeve. Even though we donāt see each other nearly enough, he makes sure we know and feel his love.
He became a grandpa for the first time in 2020, and I think it was the best day of his life. He loves his granddaughter so so so much!
He doesnāt have Facebook, he wonāt see this. So I guess what Iām trying to get at with this post is that when you stay at Sturgeon Lake Motel, or support any local small businesses, you truly are supporting a dream. In this case you are giving a hard working man an opportunity to create his own success while living up north. Unfortunately he does this and misses a lot of time away from his family. So if youāre at the motel right now, or ever have been, or ever plan to - make sure to thank him for the service he provides. We sure miss him in the cities a lot - so cherish those weekends or week days you get to hear him laugh or have a beer with him! Heās one of the best humans around!
