Three months ago yesterday was my triple bypass surgery! God was so good to me! I have healed amazingly well. I’m back to mowing and trimming the campground, not as quickly as I’ve been in the past. With our abundance of rain, things are growing much faster than normal! But we have green grass this year. Bob was a wonderful nurse! We both appreciated all your thoughts, prayers and well wishes. We’ll See many of you in a month! Safe travels!

As some of you may have heard, Christine Yantis (co-owner of Gentle Eagle) underwent emergency open heart surgery on Monday. She is home now, and recovering well. Obviously, this will cause significant delays in business transactions and communication. Keith White has been a regular for the past several rallies. We will miss him this year. Our condolences and deepest sympathies to his wife Kandy and son Seth. He was a part of our Gentle Eagle family.

Great news! Harvey Hodges got out of the hospital a week ago. He was in the hospital for 81 days! He is home and able to walk with a walker! His ribs have healed as well as his wrist. He did not suffer any brain damage even though he was in a coma for 30 days. His lungs that were punctured by his broken ribs have healed as well so he does not struggle with breathing. He does not remember anything, but it is suspected that his bike hydroplaned as it was raining. He sounded like the Harvey that we have come to know and love. He appreciates all of the thoughts and prayers on his behalf!

Harvey was in a motorcycle accident August 13, 2018, on his way home to Port Lavaca, Texas, from Sturgis. His family is thanking God every day that he was wearing a helmet, as he always does. Without this, we believe he would not be here with us today. He has a wife, Kathy, and three children-Bra...
