We have completed the clean up phase of the fire. It is so different out there now. Thank you to my friend Carol for taking me away today so I didn’t have to watch. So hard to believe that our 2nd home is now condensed in a dumpster. We are working hard on plans for the new store/ office. We will keep you updated as they come. As we go to bed each night and pray for those in Ukraine, we continue to be thankful that no one was hurt and things could be so much worse. See you all soon, Bartt and Jami

As most of you have probably heard by now we lost the office Wednesday morning due to a massive fire. It is a complete loss. We have no idea how it started.
We are asking everyone to please not come out until the fire inspector has had a chance to come out and we can secure things.
The office has so many precious memories for our family and for many others. Both kids were raised in there in the summer, Adison and Anita grew up there and I was preparing to start Logan in there this spring. Many happy times spent in there visiting with friends and family. Hopefully we can start the rebuilding process soon.

We’d also like to ask if you have any photos and/or videos from in and around the office to please share those with us!

Again, thank you to those that have reached out, we appreciate you and all the kind words.

Great news seasonal campers... we will be opening for our Seasonal campers Monday June 8!!! Please know though at this time our plans are not to open our pool this summer!! I know, bummer!! You will need to be self contained as we won’t be opening the bathhouse anytime soon!! It will be basic camping!! Please note for the time being we are asking for you to have very limited visitors and they must be prearranged!! Look forward to seeing you all next week. We have a lot of summer ahead of us!!!

Hi Campers, I hope you are doing well and staying healthy through this crazy time. I would have never imagined when this first started back in March that we wouldn’t be open for Memorial weekend. I continue to watch and keep up with everything the governor has to say. We, along with many other private campgrounds and organizations continue to argue the case that we could safely open. I was hoping for some good news today but unfortunately we are still on the list to remain closed. I will continue to monitor and update. Sadly it will be a lonely weekend at Green Valley Campground. Hopefully we can open on the 28th for our seasonal campers!! Stay healthy and safe. Thankyou for your patience and understanding! Our camp family means so much to us!!

Happy May 1st everyone! Have to admit this is a little strange as it is the first time in 36 years I won’t be spending it in the office welcoming my camp family back!! We are still hoping for the 15th and will continue to update as the state hands down our rules and the new rules we will put in place for everyone’s safety!! Enjoy this beautiful weekend and continue to stay safe please!!!!! See you soon!

Hi campers! We know many of you, like us, are anxious for the season to begin! We can almost smell that sweet smell of a marshmallow toasting over a campfire.
This season, with respect to Michigan’s stay at home order during these unprecedented times, our opening date has been moved to May 15th as of now.
We will continue to closely monitor our situation as we continue to follow Governor Whitmer’s safety orders for our state.

We hope you all are staying safe and healthy.

Seasonals, we know how tempting it is to fix up your sites before the season kicks off, however, we are asking for the health and safety of everyone to please wait until after May 15th. Thank you!

It’s been a rough couple of days around Here as yesterday our favorite office assistant and friend to everyone lost his battle with leukemia. He brought a lot of happiness when he came to visit Grandpa and Grandmas. He was only with us a few short years but the memories he left us will last a lifetime in our hearts!! RIP Grammies Angel!!
