Morganton Point on Lake Blue Ridge is just 18 minutes away — an easy day trip for Labor Day weekend or anytime you’re staying with us.

A little preview of what’s to come!

Some tree species naturally begin changing earlier than others, and environmental conditions can give a few an early start. The mountains are still beautifully green, but every now and then, we’re starting to spot those first little hints of fall.

And before we get too far ahead of ourselves… we still have one more summer weekend to enjoy 😉

Another great weekend at Skeenah!

A campground full of Boy Scouts, a little trout fishing in the creek, a vintage camper under the trees, and a rainbow over it all 🌈

One of our favorite summer adventures near Skeenah. 💦

We spent the afternoon floating the Toccoa with Blue Ridge Tubing — and it couldn’t be easier:

🎟️ Check in + get stamped (no reservation needed)
🚌 Hop on the shuttle
📍 Get dropped off at Sandy Bottom
💦 Grab your tube + hit the river
⏱️ The float averages about 2 hours

A little local shoutout to our friends at Toccoa Valley Tubing and Campground, too! 💚 They’re another great option for tubing the Toccoa! Blue Ridge just happened to work best with our timing on this particular day.

It’s never too late to share a good memory! ❤️

Sometimes things get busy around here, and these memories from the final night of the NEWADI Vintage Trailer Rally (Tin Can Tourists of Georgia) never made it to the page.

Hosting this rally reminded us just how special group camping can be. There’s something about camping that brings people together, and we loved seeing Skeenah become the home base for it all. 😊
