It’s been a while since I introduced myself here!
My name is Monica and my husband and I are the owners of Our Oceanview ⚓️ & Oceanview ⚓️ North. Some things you should know about me:
🌊I love Cape Cod and the Islands (esp Block Island shh, it’s my secret underrated island. Go get a mudslide at Ballards & climb the stairs at Mohegan Bluffs for incredible views)
🌊We have 2 kids - 5&8 years old and rescued a mini doodle this year named Cody. We nicknamed him potato 🥔 because he is a tiny potato muffin nose. 🦮
🌊I used to work in the medical device industry for 11 years and in my (sometime stressful) journey of covering 5 states of New England, I once googled “where to get a good lobster roll” and it led me to York, Maine. I sat by the Nubble lighthouse and fell in love immediately.
🌊 A perfect day is getting to the beach early, eating a delicious messy grinder and taking a nap - usually in that order. As kids we used to pack a gigantic cooler and stay until sunset.
🌊I love finding hidden foodie gems and hiking trails. It’s what inspired me to create a booklet for each of the houses to share with our guests.
