Memorial Day has always felt like the true beginning of summer to me…🇺🇸

The first long golden evenings, barefoot feet running through the grass, tables filling with food and people you love.🌊

And underneath all of that joy, I always think about the people who came before us. The people who served, sacrificed, and gave so much so families like mine could live freely, dream freely, and build beautiful lives of our own.

And for me, so much of that beauty is found in the details…

In setting a table that makes someone feel loved. In flowers dotted around the house. In knowing a summer quilt will keep someone cozy long after the sun goes down. In the feeling when someone pulls into the driveway and is greeted by a festive front door that reminds them today is worth celebrating.💌

These moments are how I celebrate life. How I love people. How I honor the gift of being here at all. And I feel incredibly lucky that creating beauty, comfort, and meaningful moments for others has become my life’s work. I love sharing it with you.

Comment STARS and I’ll send you the pieces from this reel that helped me create these happy Americana summer moments. ✨

What I want isn’t a big deal.

All I want is a beautiful resort getaway where I can lounge, spa, relax all day, take long hot baths, get dressed up for incredible dinners, and have the best sleep of my life. And then simply repeat that over and over again. 😂

This is the exact dream which is . The kind of place where a flute of Prosecco seems to appear exactly when it should, where every interaction feels thoughtful and familiar, and where the entire atmosphere reminds your nervous system what it feels like to close your eyes, smile, and exhale.

I’m convinced some of our best thoughts arrive after a massage, a beautiful dinner, and a long deep sleep in perfectly crisp hotel sheets. There’s something about rest, beauty, and enjoyment that reconnects us to ourselves again, and reminds us how good life is meant to feel. 🤍

Thank you for an incredible stay, we will be back!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the humans who mother in one way or another 🤍

The ones raising little humans, caring for animals, checking in on everyone, holding traditions together, making people feel safe, loved, seen, and at home. That kind of energy makes the world go around!

I just made my annual pantry herb bowl again 🌿 one of my favorite simple traditions. For me, it makes it easy to make mealtime more special (and delicious!) for the people I love. 🤍

We’re always searching for pieces that feel like they could have always been there. The kind that settle so naturally into a home, they blur the line between restoration and memory. Those details are what give a space its soul… more warmth, more character, and the feeling that the home is simply becoming more of itself over time.

My favorite part is our new pieces (that feel like they could have always been there)from . I love their craftsmanship and attention to detail when it comes to every element of their pieces.

Collective effervescence.✨

That’s absolutely the feeling to describe the Nantucket Daffodil Festival.

Maybe it’s a combination of happy yellow lining the streets, playful daffodils all around, and that everyone showed up for the same slice of magic.

One of my favorite moments was the hat pageant- little glimpses of just how far that magic travels (contestants came from as far as CA, TX, and even several countries in Europe!)🌼

It really feels like something the Nantucket locals have poured so much attention into and it shows in every detail. It’s one of our favorite family traditions!

Special thank you to Jason and Jen at who was so welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely kind for our wonderful stay!

This kitchen took far longer than we ever expected. There were moments of uncertainty, so many design decisions, and more roadblocks than we could have planned for. At times it felt frustrating, but now looking back, every delay, every change, every pause forced us to slow down and listen more carefully to the home itself.

What emerged is something far more meaningful than what we first imagined. A space that holds both past and present. Where old and new sit beside each other quietly. Where history isn’t erased, but carried forward.

This kitchen feels deeply emotional to us. Not just because of how it looks, but because of everything it took to become what it is.

Endlessly grateful to the craftsmen who brought this space to life, and especially to my husband, Chase, my partner in every sense, who spent countless late nights beside me shaping, researching, and refining every detail of this kitchen. Their care and skill are now part of the story this home will carry for generations. 💫

This room was once the keeping room of our home- a tavern built in 1802.

Essentially this long narrow room, with 3 windows and 9(!!!) doors, was the lounge and gathering space.

A place to linger. To rest. To warm up.

Travelers passing through, neighbors stopping in for a pint or a meal, I can only imagine what conversations unfolded here.

When we reimagined it for our family, it naturally remained a central hub of daily life- the place we pass through and land again and again.

Presence mattered, but so did comfort. We were seeking something inviting, with a little romance to it. It works so well because it feels like a fresh take on an old-world silhouette.

The Elias Chairs from found its way here easily.

Generous, rounded, incredible structure and fabric, deeply comfortable- the kind of chair you settle into and definitely don’t rush out of.
