A nice weekend on tap with 20 slopes open!

It's a big ski holiday weekend! Expect heavy traffic and crowds (especially Saturday), but all 20 slopes are OPEN, along with snow tubing and ice skating. Be prepared for possible slick roads in the morning especially higher on the mountain after a light snow tonight. High tomorrow in the 20s. Have fun and be patient. We had an unexpected opening come up this weekend if you’re looking for a place to stay within walking distance to the slopes!

Situated in Banner Elk, this condo building is within 2 mi (3 km) of Sugar Mountain Resort, Sugar Creek Gem Mine, and Linville River. Grandfather Mountain State Park and Watauga River are also within 3 mi (5 km).
