One for the star gazers the next couple of nights starting August 12. Perseids will be lighting up the sky with up to 100 meteors per hour. Best seen after midnight

☄️ PERSEID METEOR SHOWER PEAKS TONIGHT!

The Perseids peak tonight into Thursday morning, with 50–100 meteors per hour possible under dark, clear skies. With virtually no moonlight to interfere, viewing conditions could be excellent.

🌥️ The biggest issue will be cloud cover, which may block the show across parts of the U.S. If you have clear skies, your best chance will be after midnight through the hours before dawn.
