Flanders pond beach is just feet from the end of the driveway, there are many miles of hiking trails within a 10 minute drive as well as 2 other paradise like beaches on Donnell’s pond and Little Tunk lake. Northern lights over Schoodic Mtn from Flanders pond tonight. A short walk onto the pond from the cabins gets you a nice view of the lights! Seems to be getting stronger and more visible by the minute.
Come visit us this winter and do some ice fishing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling or just stay cozy in your cabin, but be sure to watch that night sky when you do!

Mountains Monday! Looking for some fun this Valentine's Day? Winter Fest is coming! What a better way to wake up then nearby mountains, Flanders Pond and ATV trails! Mt View Youth Sports presents Winter Fest on February 14, 2026. Complete with ice fishing derby, including prizes! We have just the properties for you! Acadia Sunset Fishing Cabins (1, 2 and 5 are available). A perfect retreat to warm up after a day on the frozen water!
