One of the best things about camping is meeting new people and sharing experiences. Yesterday we had the privilege of meeting author Teresa Lasher and her husband while they camped with us. It was a honor having them as our guest. We even received a signed copy of one of Teresa’s books. It is a beautiful book I will cherish always.

Our hearts are with Ricky’s family and everyone at Tracey’s Seafood following their unimaginable loss. On Thursday, September 3, Musquito Harbor Brewing Company will donate $4 from every draft sold directly to Ricky’s family. Come raise a pint and help us support our neighbors when they need us most.

Acadia Seashore joined the fun yesterday in the Winter Harbor Lobster Festival Parade! If you have not participated in the Lobster Festival before, it is a must if you are in the area that first weekend of August. Only 14 miles from the campground, there were festivities all day long🦞🦞The morning rain cleared to beautiful skies in time for the parade, ending with fog rolling in. Perfect Maine experience.

🌧️🦞 RAIN OR SHINE — THE LOBSTER FESTIVAL IS STILL GOING ON! 🦞🌧️

A little Maine weather isn’t going to stop us! Grab your raincoat, bring your umbrella, and come on down to the Winter Harbor Lobster Festival! 🇺🇸

Our festival activities are continuing rain or shine, so don’t let a few raindrops keep you home. There’s still plenty happening around town today!

A quick note about the Lobster Boat Races: The Town does not oversee the races, so we do not have information at this time about whether the weather will affect their start time. We’ll share any updates we receive.

☔ Come prepared for the weather and come enjoy the festival!
