This site is perfect for those who want to visit or the but don'tThis nearly 3-acre site bordering the Gauley River National Recreation Area has it all! It can accommodate up to a 25' RV or trailer with 30 Amp electric and water hookup only, or a large group of friends who want to tent or vehicle camp, or BOTH! Plenty of room with creek access and just a short walk to the river. Firepit with grill, picnic table, large 10' X 20' tent with table, water and clean, private portajohns provided. A short hike to the top of the hill will reward you with incredible night skies to star gaze. And, you can even get an LTE phone signal to touch base with loved ones or post your pics on social media. ATVs are welcome at this site only. Priced for up to 10 adults but can accommodate up to 30. Price: $50/night for up to 10 adults with a 2 night minimum for RV and/or tent camping. $5/night for each additional adult. Children 12 and under are free.

The Gauley River Jam is back! Celebrate the beginning of this year at . Live music Friday and Saturday night. Brasstaxx, a hard hitting rock/blues band from Weston, will take the stage Friday night. And Saturday night, Mike Trimmer, a multi- instrument, talented musician, will have a jam session for us and invites any other talented musicians in the audience to join him. This holler will be rockin'!! Be there, or be square! FREE to all campers of Tawney Farm.

Looking for a place to camp this Gauley season with your pet? Tawney Farm is here, right on the middle Gauley. Our pet-friendly field is conveniently located right at the top of the hill at the take-out at Mason's Branch where pets on leash are welcome. Plenty of room for you, your friends and your pets! Amenities include 2 community fire pits, park-style grill, picnic table, water and porta-johns. Lots of room on both sides of the road for your leashed pet to explore. A short hike to the top of the hill will reward you with incredible night skies to star gaze. And, you can even get a cell phone signal to touch base with loved ones or post your pics on social media. $20/adult/night and $5/pet/night.
