Our final day of Eagle Adventure Camp was a success!

The kids enjoyed heading to the pool for some fun splashing in the water and going down the slide! If you have never been to Cardington Pool it’s an awesome affordable, smaller pool with friendly lifeguards that doesn’t get very crowded at all during public hours. Only about a 25 minute drive from Sunbury if you ever want to check them out! They were great to us this summer!

With the air quality, we stayed inside for games in the afternoon outside of a quick break to eat some Dairy Queen in the shelter house. We thank them for providing a special treat each week for our campers!

Good morning. Just wanted to give an update that as of now we are still planning on going to the pool this morning. To limit our time spent outside, our plan is to spend the afternoon inside the gym of the church. We will come back outside to eat ice cream, then head back inside the rest of the day.

We will update if anything changes, but just wanted to give all information so you can make the best decision for your camper.

We will also do dropoff inside the church today.

It was an awesome Thursday at Eagle Adventure Camp week 7!

This morning we played some games inside and outside before enjoying some lunch in the shade to stay cool.

In the afternoon we made our way to Gym Skills where the campers got to jump on trampolines, climb on the ninja course, and even got to jump off a giant warped wall into a cheese pit! The Gym Skills staff is always so fun and patient with our campers, so we want to say thank you to them for having us again this summer!

TOMORROW

We are going swimming in the morning at Cardington Pool. The bus will leave at 9:30. Please have your camper wear their swimsuit to camp and bring a towel and sunscreen. They may also bring a change of clothes to change into after if they would like. We will also have Dairy Queen in the afternoon!

Day 3 of week 7!

It was a hot one, but our campers made it a great day!

In the morning we played games inside and outside and the campers also made some pretty cool objects during our makerspace station.

In the afternoon we made our way to TOCA for some soccer and field day games. Thank you to them for hosting our field trips this year!

TOMORROW

We will be heading to gym skills in the afternoon for some jumping, flipping and bouncing! We are also still accepting items for the Sunbury Blessing Box if able!

Good morning! Excited for another day of camp today. If you have not seen yet, there is an air quality alert for today. Luckily, our afternoon field trip is indoors at TOCA and we will be spending some of our time indoors this morning before leaving.

Also, we are still collecting non-perishable items for the Sunbury blessing box.

Day 2 of Week 7 was a success!!

We talked about our word of the day Respect this morning followed by rotating and playing many games both outside and inside to beat the heat.

In the afternoon we made our way to the bowling alleys for some friendly competition. The campers enjoyed playing many games and trying to beat their score.

Thank you to Penn Lanes and Delaware Lanes for having our campers this summer!

TOMORROW

Games and Makerspace in the morning followed by our Field Trip to play some soccer and field day games at TOCA! Make sure to wear comfortable shoes!

It was a great first day of week 7 of camp!

We started our day by getting into our groups and getting to know our fellow campers and counselors.

Some highlights of our day included playing tons of games, making ornaments, and walking to Krinsky’s Taekwondo Academy! Campers got to show off their skills and a few lucky campers even got to break some boards!

TOMORROW

We will play more fun games in the morning followed by our field trip to go Bowling! Please have your camper wear sneakers tomorrow (no crocs or flip flops) for bowling.
