Kara Creek Ranch is located in the Black Hills of Wyoming USA, 16 Miles from the renown historic town Sundance Wyoming. The Ranch headquarters lie along the Inyan Kara Creek banks near the crystal mountain stream that was discovered in 1874 by General Custrer's expedition. The Ranch Is owned and operated by the Snook family. Almost 150 years and four generations ago, the Snook family homesteaded
in Wyoming and began cattle ranching. Since then a long-line of cowboys and cowgirls have been formed. Kara Creek is a working Ranch, guests are invited to join us in all activities that the cowboys conduct. To enjoy the true "Western way of life" guests will round-up cattle, drive them to summer and winter grazing pastures, participate in brandings, learn how to repair and build fence, camp in the great open air and attend local Rodeos. Many tourists attractions and tourist towns are close which guests are encouraged to visit on a rare "rest day" from the saddle.
