🎬🌲 CALLING SOUTHERN OREGON FILMMAKERS! 🌲🎬

Something new is taking shape next season right next to the Little Amethyst Amphitheater at Sunny Valley Resort, and this one feels especially close to my heart. 💜

This past season taught me something important about our movie nights: rather than putting our energy and resources toward films that have already been heavily commercialized, I would much rather use our space in the forest to support the creative people right here in our Southern Oregon community.

So I’m looking for local independent filmmakers who would like to co-create an evening with us and feature their work under the stars.

Imagine…

Short films, documentaries, feature films, student films and other original projects are welcome. I’m especially excited about work created here in Southern Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.

I don’t want this to simply be a place where we show movies.

I want it to be a place where we support the people who make them.

What a beautiful way to close out our season. 💜✨

Last night, under the soft purple glow of the Little Amethyst Amphitheater, we gathered for one final evening of connection, relaxation, and healing with the wonderful Shaina Rae. The forest, the night sky, the sound healing, it all came together to create such a peaceful and magical experience.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out and shared the evening with us. Seeing all of you relaxing together beneath the trees was the perfect ending to a very special season.

A huge thank you to Malialani, who stepped in at the last minute to offer foot massages and brought another beautiful layer of relaxation to the evening. 💜 And, of course, thank you to Becky Rose for bringing her absolutely delicious fresh juices and sharing her goodness with all of us. 🌿🥤

And thank you, Shaina Rae, for filling our little amphitheater and the surrounding forest with your beautiful sound healing. ✨

There was something truly special about last night, the purple lights glowing through the trees, people resting and receiving, good food and juice, massage, music, and community.

Our last event of the season couldn’t have ended more beautifully.

Come spend a day—or an entire night—slowing down, breathing deeply, and enjoying a little forest magic. 💜

We’ll begin the day with a beautiful outdoor yoga practice surrounded by the trees, followed by fresh, delicious juice from Becky Rose Health Coach.

Come move, breathe, connect and give your nervous system a little time to settle into the peace of the forest. 🌲

🌙 7:00 PM — An Evening of Sound, Massage & Nourishment

As the sun begins to set, join us at the Little Amethyst Amphitheater for our final healing event of the season.

Beginning at 7 PM, settle in and enjoy:

We’re closing out the season with an evening designed for one thing:

RELAXATION. 🌲💜

At 7pm, we will start by having tea, juice and/or sandwiches and treats, whatever your heart desires.

At 8pm, the magical sound healing begins!!

Imagine settling into your antigravity chair, wrapped in a cozy blanket, while the sounds and vibrations of Shaina Rae’s sound healing move through the forest…

…and then, while you’re completely relaxed, Victoria Marie Sanchez begins a foot massage. 🦶✨

Seriously. Sound healing + a foot massage at the same time.

You don’t have to get up.

Just close your eyes, listen, breathe and let yourself be cared for.

Supporting Local — All Year Long 🌲💜

A huge THANK YOU to all of our local businesses who have been sending us flyers, menus, brochures and information to share with our guests!

I’ve been busy laminating everything because, well… we live in Oregon. 😂🌧️ And now that Sunny Valley Resort is officially staying open year-round, those materials are going to be working year-round too!

I’m creating a Local Business & Adventure Book for our glamping guests filled with places to eat, shop, explore, experience and enjoy while they’re visiting Southern Oregon.

One of the things I’m most proud of is the kind of tourism we’re creating here.

Our guests aren’t just looking for a place to sleep. They come here to slow down, reconnect with their families, spend time in nature and experience our area. Reading their reviews has reminded me just how far people travel to stay with us, and how much opportunity that creates to introduce them to the wonderful small businesses surrounding us.

🌿🎨 ART + WELLNESS IN THE FOREST IS RETURNING! 🎨🌿

Save the Date — June 12, 2027

Two years ago, we held our first Art & Wellness Show at Sunny Valley Resort, bringing together an incredible mix of artists, wellness professionals and our community.

We had art, acupuncture, massage, Reiki, poetry and other beautiful offerings, and it was such a wonderful day that we’re bringing it back for our second show!

This time, we’re opening the invitation even wider.

🌿 CALLING ARTISTS & WELLNESS PROFESSIONALS 🌿

Painters, sculptors, photographers, potters, jewelry makers, poets and creators of all kinds…

Along with massage therapists, acupuncturists, yoga, pilates and movement teachers, sound healers, reiki, herbalists, health and wellness coaches, forest therapists, edible mushroom foraging specialists and other wellness professionals, we would love to hear from you.

Our vision is to create a day where art, creativity, wellness, nature and community all come together on our beautiful forest property in Southern Oregon.

Wellness practitioners will bring their own setup this year, allowing us to create little spaces and experiences throughout the property.

✨ AND A SPECIAL PERK FOR OUR PARTICIPATING VENDORS & PRACTITIONERS:

Our glamping accommodations will be offered to participating vendors first, giving those traveling to Sunny Valley the opportunity to stay right here on the property and make a weekend of it.
