Hello everyone. We are excited to announce the celebration of our 44th Fourth of July and the beginning of our 44th year at Ocean Aire. A barbecue featuring hotdogs and hamburgers will be held in front of the office, starting at 6pm on Saturday, July 4th, followed by a co****le tournament at 8pm. Please contact the office to RSVP and provide the number of guests attending, as well as any side dishes or desserts you plan to bring. We will provide dogs, burgers, chips, and water. Please note the following important details for this year's celebration. As we celebrate America's 250th birthday, we must comply with the burn ban and water rationing regulations, which prohibit fireworks and any open fires, including fire pits. Additionally, please ensure that only bagged household garbage is disposed of in the dumpsters. We have installed cameras, and our waste management provider, GFL, has also equipped their trucks with cameras to monitor and identify any non-compliant items. If any prohibited items are discovered, GFL will impose a fine of $150 per incident on the campground. Therefore, we kindly request that you properly bag your trash and refrain from leaving any items on the steps or ground surrounding the dumpsters.

Brunswick County has declared a Stage 2 Mandatory Water Conservation Alert due to extreme drought conditions and high system demands. In response, the following restrictions and guidelines have been implemented. Pool filling is prohibited, and the pool may be closed if water levels drop below the skimmers. Dishwashers and washing machines must be fully loaded and operated between 8pm and 4am. Pressure washing, car and boat washing are generally prohibited, with a limit of 5 gallons per vehicle. Due to these restrictions, all boat, car washing, engine flushing, camper washing, etc., are prohibited until the County lifts the Water Conservation Alert. The laundry will be closed during the day and opened from 8pm until the next morning.
Below is a list of the basic restrictions from the county.
For more information please contact the office at 910-842-9072 during office hours.

In response to Brunswick County's voluntary water conservation measures, we are asking all Ocean Aire residents to voluntarily restrict water usage by not washing campers, vehicles, and boats, and by avoiding yard watering. Rinsing a boat motor for a brief period of less than 5 minutes is permissible. Please address any questions to the office.

The bathhouse and laundry are open but there is no hot water. Hopefully it will be resolved on Monday.

06/07/2026

Due to some thoughtless idiot turning off the gas to the water heater and laundry sometime Friday or early this morning, there is no hot water in the bathhouse and laundry. We are trying to get the pilot relit in the water heater by sometime tomorrow but can’t guarantee that will happen. May have to have gas company come out Monday. I’ll keep everyone posted. I apologize for this unfortunate act of vandalism and promise if I find out who did this they will face the consequences for their cowardly actions.

Starting today, we will reinstate the nightly closure of the bathhouse and laundry facilities from 9pm to 8am.

For the purpose of ensuring the safety and well-being of all guests and pets, please ensure that food and water dishes are not placed outside the camper's four walls, as this may attract unwanted wildlife such as raccoons and feral cats. There have been several reported incidents of raccoon sightings during daylight hours in the vicinity of campers and storage areas. Following consultation with the Sheriff's Office, it has been determined that while raccoon behavior is typical for this time of year, they pose a risk of disease transmission to dogs and cats. Although we are not permitted to trap these animals, we can notify the Sheriff's Department to take necessary action. If you encounter a raccoon or other feral animal, please contact us so that we can facilitate their removal and relocation from the campground. Additionally, feral cats can pose a danger, particularly to pets and small children, so it is essential to keep your pets on leashes at all times when outside the camper and to supervise children closely.
