As the implementation of paid parking in the Downtown Poulsbo Anderson Parkway Waterfront Parking lot approaches, you may notice a few changes.

Over the next several days, signs for the ParkMobile payment system will be installed throughout the paid parking areas. The signs will remain covered until the program officially launches on Saturday, August 15th.

To help clearly identify which parking spaces require payment, the City is also painting large white "P" markings on the pavement. These markings are intended to distinguish City-managed paid parking spaces from nearby privately owned parking areas.

If you have questions about the new paid parking program, including parking locations, rates, hours of operation, and frequently asked questions, please visit the City's paid parking webpage: https://poulsbo.gov/downtownparkinglandingpage/

The Kitsap County Fire Marshal, in conjunction with the Kitsap County Fire Chiefs' Association, announced today that a Stage II Outdoor Burn Ban will be in effect throughout all of Kitsap County beginning August 5. Local fire danger continues to increase due to warm, dry weather with no significant rainfall predicted in the near future. Officials are imposing the ban in an effort to limit sources of wildfire ignition to the greatest extent possible and urge the public to exercise extreme caution with all outdoor activities.
