Located about 40 miles northeast of Wilmington, NC, Topsail (pronounced Top-sul) is a 22 mile long strip of land connected to the mainland by an historic old swing bridge. Although the island has experienced a modest upsurge in development during
the last few years, Topsail has retained the kind of laid back ambiance that is fast disappearing from so many coastal areas. The island’s pet friendly beaches are among the rare few where you can still frolic with Fido! Conchedout is a great choice for an affordable family vacation. The 3 bedroom 2 bath hideaway has a beautiful unobstructed view of the ocean from the roomy, partially covered front deck. With two queen beds, a set of bunks and a futon in the living area there’s enough room to comfortably accommodate 4 adults and 2 or 3 children. Each bedroom has its own TV and DVD plus a full size TV with DVD/VCR in the living room. You can even “surf” while you surf with our free wireless internet connection, (Bring your own computer.) The kitchen has a full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave oven, coffeemaker, and a blender for those 5:00 Margarita’s! Down below you’ll find covered parking for 2 cars, a full size washer and dryer, and a shower for rinsing the sand off after a lazy day on the beach.
