See information below about our status in the wake of Hurricane Dorian.
Edit: We have information on Peppertree Ocean Club in North Myrtle Beach. The resort will remain closed until Friday, Sept. 13. We will share more details when we get them, the property is being looked at currently.
Good morning, travelers. We have a Hurricane Dorian update for the Myrtle Beach area to share.
Overall, our resorts fared well, but the exposure of being directly on the beach means that partner resorts Sea Mystique and Sandpebble Beach Club will be closed until Friday, Sept. 13.
We are assessing some electrical concerns as well as water retention below the elevators at these resorts in the wake of this storm.
For Ellington at Wachesaw Plantation East in Murrells Inlet, the resort is currently open and accepting arrivals. There was minimal damage that is being addressed today that should not affect guests. There is flooding in surrounding areas, so guests arriving to the resort are encouraged to check the SCDOT website for any road closures: www.scdot.org.
Wachesaw at Plantation East Golf Course does have some debris and large trees down on the course. It will be closed today, but is scheduled to be open first thing tomorrow.
