🥂Enjoy a lively night out by attending a dinner show produced by The Grand Drama & Comedy Club. Tickets are open to the public, but hurry, they are almost sold out.

“I Love You to Death” is staged as immersive entertainment, featuring actors in character throughout the performance. Known for its elaborate sets, the Drama Club delivers the moment you step into the Irish Lyon Social Club, where the dinner décor and speakeasy ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable night.

Guests are greeted by live jazz and dancing, then enjoy a chef-catered three-course meal and a three-act play.

When a murder occurs, the audience becomes part of the investigation as characters mingle, plant clues, and stir up suspicions.

With multiple endings, every performance unfolds differently.

The shows are June 9-13, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Cimarron Center. 1920s attire is encouraged to complete the festive atmosphere.

Today, we gathered at The Grand’s Veterans Monument to honor and remember the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Thank you to our Armed Forces Support Group for presenting this morning’s meaningful Memorial Day ceremony and to all who attended in remembrance and reflection.

On this Memorial Day, we pause to honor those who never came home, as well as the families and loved ones who carry their memory forward. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

This year, we’re celebrating "30 Years Strong" at The Grand.

Ever wonder how it all began? Take a step back in time with a look at the history behind our community, shared by our friends at the Del Webb Sun Cities Museum.

Whether it’s your first visit or a return trip, it’s a fun and fascinating way to connect with the story of the place we call home.

The success of Sun City West compelled Del Webb Corp to announce in 1994 the crossing of Grand Avenue to the Southwest. The “new” Sun City community was yet to be named in this announcement map, but one option under consideration was keeping the Sun City West name. What is today Sunrise Blvd was originally depicted as the continuation of RH Johnson Blvd. Ultimately, the decision made was to brand this new community Sun City Grand, with construction starting in 1996, the major factor being that the community would be a part of the growing City of Surprise. Also note, the Estrella Parkway is today Loop 303.

To learn more about the original Sun City communities come visit the Del Webb Sun Cities Museum. We are open Sunday 12-3. Monday thru Thursday 10-4. Summer hours will start soon and will be announced. 10801 W Oakmont Dr in the first model home of Sun City, AZ.

The Grand Drama & Comedy Club was one of the first 30 clubs chartered in our community. The club formed in 1998, and shortly after, in 1999, so did its dance troupe: the Grandettes. Twenty-seven years later, the Grandettes are still in full swing.

Here's a behind-the-scenes look at the Grandettes — what goes into each variety show, the history of the group, and how you can be a part of its future.
