Running now through June 21, 2026, Art in Bloom at the Black Mountain Center for the Arts pairs regional visual artists with floral designers for a gallery-wide celebration of texture, shape, and season. Glass catches the light. Petals echo brushstrokes. Sculpture and stems share the same room. It's the kind of thing you wander through slowly, and leave smiling.

Asheville was chosen as the host city for the 2026 Carolinas Sketch Crawl, organized by Urban Sketchers chapters from Asheville, Charlotte, and Greenville. Artists from across the Carolinas, and as far as Chicago, Orlando, and Portland will be sketching on location throughout the River Arts District and downtown all weekend. Free public events are happening throughout, including drink-and-draws, a sketch exhibit, an international postcard exchange, and a guided architecture tour. All ages and skill levels are welcome to join in!

May has been absolutely MAGICAL here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and we've loved every minute of it with you.

Whether you hiked to Craggy Gardens, watched the Blue Ghost Fireflies glow in the forest, danced at Downtown After 5, marveled at Luminere at Biltmore, explored the art galleries of Black Mountain, or simply sat on our community deck with a glass of wine and let the mountain views do all the talking, this month has been something special. 🏔️🔥

Asheville's outdoor fine art show season is officially in full swing, and it's absolutely worth a visit from your campsite at Mama Gertie's!

Pack Square Park in downtown Asheville hosts its popular Outdoor Craft Artisan Show on June 13, June 20, and June 27, 2026 - featuring work from 100 juried artists in glass, ceramics, wood, jewelry, metal, and more. This outdoor gallery experience is FREE to attend and one of the most beloved summertime traditions in Asheville.
