The Farm House is nestled away outside of Swansboro, on a 100 acre farm. The beautiful beaches of Emerald Isle are, just 15 minutes away. Downtown Swansboro offers, quaint little gift shops, restaurants, and plenty of water activities, all within a 5 minute drive. Hammocks beach state park offers ferry service to and from a public beach that can only be reached by ferry. If you want to be adventurous, the North Carolina Aquarium is about a 30 minute drive, located in Pine Knoll Shores. Other popular site seeing locations are, historic Fort Macon, shopping on the Morehead City water front or travel across the bridge to spend the day in historic Beaufort and visit The Maritime museum or catch a ferry ride to the Cape Lookout light house. After a long day at the beach or site seeing, you can come back to the Farm House and relax on the front porch in a rocking chair with a cold glass of lemonade.
