The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), Sweet Briar’s accrediting body, reaffirmed the College’s accreditation.

Winter has been especially wintery lately, and Sweet Briar is as beautiful as ever.

At the end of the spring semester, we look forward to welcoming back visitors, friends and families! During the semester, as the College adapts to pandemic precautions, the inn and conference center serve as expanded academic space, which has been a convenient and comfortable option.

Honoring the governor's directive related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Florence Elston Inn and Conference Center has temporarily suspended operations.

Starting tonight!

Sweet Briar students will perform the musical, Fountain of You, based on the book and lyrics by Tasha Gordon-Solmon and music by Faye Chiao. The musical will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 27, 28, 29 and March 1 at 2:30 p.m. in the Murchison Lane Auditorium at the Babcock Fine Arts Center.
