Robin and I have entered a new phase of our lives, and so we made the decision to close the Woodfield Hills Inn as of 1/1/25. This wasn't an easy choice as we both love people and hosting them. I don't know how many breakfasts were served, or how many beds Robin made, but as with all things - she was the backbone of this operation, and did 97% of the work, and she did it as she does all things - with a love and graciosuness that she has exhibited all 42 years that I have known her.
We will have many many fond memories of hosting friends from literally all over the world in our home - from retired folks just passing through, to techies from Estonia, and of course, the many Christian bands that stayed with us during the "Pro Life Music Festival" years (we had 52 close friends stay with us one weekend ...we still haven't figured out where all the food came from, because we only had enough for about 10).
We will be selling the place after 1/1/27, and are looking for a little piece of land in the country to build on or a smaller 1 level home in the country to move into - within 15 minutes of Leesburg were our daughter and family live.
THANK YOU for the wonderful memories and the fun!
Tim and Robin
