So, what do you do when a building that was once covered in graffiti becomes a McMenamins? 👀

You put it as part of the story on the walls.

Elks Temple’s history includes a time when its walls were covered in graffiti. So when we brought the building back to life, we wanted to honor that part of its story instead of pretending it never happened.

You’ll find photos of the building’s past throughout Elks Temple. Even better, there’s the Graffiti Room.

We invited some of the artists who had tagged these walls before to come back and leave their mark again.
