Beautiful morning at Little Cove Resort. Fishing has been a little hit and miss. Caught a couple of undersized reds for the first time in a few weeks, lots of drum, some keepers in the mix. Trout have been good with croakers. And look at that sunrise.

Beautiful morning here at Little Cove, haven't fished much last few days, caught a couple of keeper drum, several smalls. Folks this weekend caught some trout but didn't get a chance to ask what else they caught, they fished well into the morning hours. Water is still a bit murky from the rains, I keep thinking if they have left the oysters in the bay it would clean up alot faster. Trout have been good under the lights and reds have been elusive to me. Dang it.

Good morning from overcast rainy Little Cove. Fishing has been pretty good lots of drum around and trout under the lights. Folks have been catching keeper trout on Croaker during the day. Guests caught a big ugly Saturday night. Keeper reds have been elusive for me. I must be missing them, several 16 in ones but that has been it. Mosquitoes were calming down but this rain the next couple of days will probably take care of that. Crabs have been filling the traps with nice large ones. Water is up and flat this morning.

Great morning at little cove resort, the water is flat this morning. The aransas river is really flowing into the bay for the first time in a long time. Last night my grandson and i caught trout until we were wore out. I counted for a while, easily over a hundred total on trout rig lures. Unfortunately no keepers a bunch at 14.5, a bunch. Shrimp everywhere it was awesome fishing. They were still popping everywhere when we called it a night. If your headed to Little Cove dont forget your mosquito spray.

Nice morning but wow what a night. Rain started around 3 am lightning too, big lightning, big. Power went out about 5 min after it started supposed to be back by 930 am, no coffee yet, bummer. Wind must have kicked up too, couldn't hear that for the lightning I guess. We lost two large limbs on our tree so we know what Brenda will be doing this morning, LOL. After coffee. Other than that water looks great and fishing is definitely improving. Maybe this rain will help too. Have a great day.

The calm after the storm. 36 mph gust we saw. Hit the pier at the right time today, maybe a little late, caught 4 nice drum 3 made it to the net, one said see ya about half way. 2 13s to go with a 16 and two 18s. About 20 minutes of ,as soon as it hit the water and then they were gone. 3 good ones and counting. Beautiful day at Little Cove.

Flounder have been around quite a bit. A couple of keeper drum to go along with 16 in flounder.
