Due to our success bidding on mowing contracts, we have decided to suspend operations here at the guest ranch for a while. We'll be mowing a little over 20,000 acres this summer so we'll be too busy to entertain guests. We'll consider opening back up this fall. We will honor all reservations on the books now but won't be taking any more.

We see lots of weddings here at the Ranch. It always makes me sad when the couple's vows include the phrase, "I take thee as my wedded husband/wife." A good marriage doesn't come from "taking" someone to be your spouse but by "giving" yourself to your new spouse. Darleen and I have been married for over 33 years now. We owe much of that to the fact that neither of us "took" the other but rather "gave" ourselves to each other. Just something to think about...

The TravelOK website that we've always asked people to leave reviews on has quit showing ratings and reviews. We had over 130 reviews and every one was positive. We also had a rating of 4.9 stars.
