Talimena State Park

Talimena State Park Talimena State Park is located on U.S. Hwy 271 at the west edge of the National Forest. There are several picnic areas and a small pavilion shelter as well.

The park offers 10 RV sites with electric and water hookups and a variety of primitive tents sites. It has two comfort stations with showers and a dump station available for campers. Parking is available for those wishing to hike or travel the ATV trails.

Join us for an all day birding marathon! Grab a list of Oklahoma birds at the park office or make your own.

Once you’re done with filling out your list, return them to the park offices within a couple of days.

Then, all lists will be submitted to be a part of the global event and friendly competition between state parks.
