Lots of bear and deer on the move!! š»š¦
This drought is going to make all wildlife much more dependent on outside food sources this year. The trees are already dropping leaves way earlier than normal, and I donāt think weāre going to see anywhere near the amount of acorn production we normally do.
That means the work weāve put into these food plots is going to be more important than ever. Between the plots, supplemental corn, and continuing to improve the habitat, I expect weāre going to see a LOT more activity around these areas as we move into fall.
Itās pretty rewarding watching months of work start paying off. Every year we learn a little more about this mountain, the wildlife that calls it home, and what we can do to make the habitat better.
