Parksland Retreat is currently recruiting for one volunteer for a 4 month workstay beginning as early as May 1st.
May - August 2026 we are constructing an A.D.A. accessible cabin and need help maintaining operations to free Dustin to focus on the build.
Average 20hrs work / week
Pay is 10% of total retreat revenue each Thursday (typically between $100-$200)
Accomodations: 13ft canvas Tent on the skydeck (mattress, bedding, heater)
Produce & eggs grown on site shared
You cover your specialty Groceries and Tent Propane costs
Responsibilities:
[ ] Flipping the furnished sites (12-2pm on days guests check out)
[ ] Cleaning and restocking Privies and Sinks (weekly on Wednesdays)
[ ] Leaf Blowing Trails and sites, everything between the swimming hole and P3 (weekly on Thursday)
[ ] Cleaning and organizing the Lounge Pavilion and outdoor kitchen (weekly on Friday)
[ ] Cleaning and preparing weekend social spaces & Sauna (weekly on Friday)
[ ] Deliveries when guests pre order firewood etc.
[ ] Firewood splitting and stacking
[ ] Helping with build projects, lumberjacking or other activities I'm doing if I have a need and ask or you want to join in.
[ ] Weekly reflection & Planning meeting
