Looking for a fun outdoor adventure for the kids? Join MacDill Outdoor Recreation for our Kids Birdhouse Build at Ballast Point Park—a hands-on experience where creativity, nature, and family fun come together!

📅 Begin Building at 9:00 AM
📍 Ballast Point Park
🚐 Need a ride? Hop on the van departing FamCamp at 8:30 AM!

👧👦 Perfect for kids ages 5–10
👥 Limited to 20 participants

🏠 Birdhouse kit
🎨 Decorating supplies
🍽️ Lunch

Kids will build and decorate their very own birdhouse while learning about local birds and the importance of protecting wildlife. Then, keep the fun going by cooling off at the splash pad, playing on the playground, or grabbing a sweet treat from the nearby ice cream shop!

It's the perfect summer outing to spark creativity, enjoy the outdoors, and make lasting family memories. 🌞

🇺🇸☀️ ICYMI: What an unforgettable day at the Stars & Stripes Beach Bash! ☀️🇺🇸

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an incredible celebration of summer, community, and America's 250th Birthday! ❤️🤍💙

From the excitement of FREE tubing rides and paddling across the bay in kayaks and paddleboards, to friendly games of co****le and beach competitions, there was something for everyone to enjoy. 🌊🛶

🏐 One of the day's biggest highlights? Uncle Sam on stilts stepping onto the volleyball court for an unforgettable match! 🇺🇸😂

🌺 The crowd was also treated to an amazing performance by the Waikiki Dancers, bringing island energy and aloha spirit to MacDill Beach.

Whether you spent the day soaking up the sun, building memories with family, enjoying food, or simply relaxing by the water, you made this event truly special.

Thank you to our volunteers, performers, partners, and everyone who helped make the Stars & Stripes Beach Bash a huge success. We can't wait to see you at the next adventure!
