Our Chalet Rio Hondo vacation rental home is located just a few miles downhill from the world-class Taos Ski Valley resort area. It is a (very) private mountain home sitting right along the Rio Hondo River (stocked with brook & brown trouts) in the heart of the beautiful, scenic & serene Kit Carson National Forest. About 10-15 miles downhill is the 400 y/o Taos Town with all of the old history & l

ore with an artistic flair with many galleries & museums. The food choices are huge and amazing and the sight-seeing and tourist activities are on most peoples bucket list. If you still have time there is a nice Casino at Taos Pueblo. Our home is 2 bedrooms + upstairs loft with 1-King Tempurpedic in the master bedroom along with a large soaking tub & 1-king day bed in 2nd bedroom with double bed in closed in loft area. A 2.5 bathrooms, sunken living room with a wood burning fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, laundry room with full-size washer & dryer. We would like for you to stay with us and enjoy our Taos Mountain lifestyle as much as we do ...... and be our guests!
